• Where did "liberals" get dragged into this? This is a completely nonpartisan article written by a parent, who is tired of hearing his son insulted. He never mentions how he plans to vote or any electoral issues. Any parent hates to hear their child insulted by the heartless bullies of the world.

• Actually, it's not a personal thing....it's a national problem and many of us have been tracking and pointing out inappropriate uses of the "r" word for months. And NOT just when Republicans do it......at one point Tracy Morgan and Jennifer Anniston were also singled out for use of this word.

• wb52: NBC ran the stories on Tracy Morgan and Jennifer Anniston too....YOU WANT this to be political. Yes, NBC has a liberal edge to it, but you are DEAD WRONG on this and protesting it over and over won't change that.
